Hello to theAMEG Group team!

I hope you're well?

For my part, I wanted to give you an overview of the international season we've had over the last few months.
We've had a great start to the season, with 2 podium finishes in 3 international competitions. Our best stats ever! It was a great time, especially in Varese and Bled, where we really felt we'd taken it up a notch. The races were great, with sensations like you rarely get!

Unfortunately, the end of the summer didn't turn out as we'd hoped. Between physical problems and poor form, we didn't manage to get to the World Championships in good shape, and missed out on this event, which was our priority because it enabled us to win the first quotas for Paris 2024. We finished 11th, a long way from our expectations. After 3 weeks off, we were able to analyze with the staff what we had missed and why. The areas for improvement are clear. We'll use our frustration to push ourselves to the limit at every training session this winter.

Determined Rowers: Our Quest for the Olympics

We're going to do everything in our power to turn this complicated situation into a driving force that will enable us to secure a ticket to the Olympics. That will be at the end of May, during the last " Olympic Qualification Regatta "in Lucerne, Switzerland.

We'll need to finish in the top two boats to qualify. There's still a good group of boats in the same situation as us, including the Italians, Greeks, Poles, Swiss and Australians. They're strong, of course, but all within our reach!

You can count on me to give it my all. Being able to experience the Olympics in France is so motivating, we believe in it so much.

The season is back on track, and we're about to enter winter with the big job behind the scenes: long training sessions with no international fixtures, but lots of objectives month after month, set by the federation.

Thank you once again for your support and for continuing to believe in me. As we all know, a top-level sports career is punctuated by highs and lows. It's never pleasant to experience the lows, but I'm convinced that it's by going through all that that we'll grow. It's up to us to make the best of this situation!

I'll see you soon, with good news this time, I promise 😉

See you soon!

Laura
